This Privacy Policy explains how Nourvi handles your information. Nourvi is an AI calorie, macro and nutrition tracker.

Account. If you create an account, your email and password are sent to our authentication provider, Supabase, which manages sign-in. You can also use the app as a guest with no account, keeping data only on your device.
Your nutrition data. Optional body stats and the foods, meals, water, exercise, fasting, weight and recipes you log. It is stored on your device. If you are signed in, it is also stored in our cloud (Supabase) to sync across your devices; each account can access only its own data (row-level security), sent over HTTPS.
Camera & photos. With your permission, Nourvi uses your camera or photo library so you can photograph a meal (see below).
Health data (optional). If you connect Apple Health, Nourvi may read data you allow (e.g., steps or weight) to show it in the app, and may write back weights you log. It is not sold or shared.
Crash & error reports. If the app hits an unexpected error, it sends a diagnostic report (an error message and technical stack trace) to our error-logging endpoint (on Cloudflare) so we can fix bugs. These reports are used only to improve the app, are not tied to your identity, and are not used for advertising or tracking.
When you analyze a meal photo, the photo is sent to our server (a serverless function), which forwards it to our AI provider, Anthropic (Claude), to estimate calories and macros, and returns the result to your device. We do not store your meal photos — the image is processed for that single request and not retained on our server. If you never use AI photo logging, no photos are transmitted.
When you search foods or scan a barcode, the search text or barcode is sent to Open Food Facts (openfoodfacts.org) to return nutrition data. No personal identifier is attached.
If you subscribe to Nourvi Pro, your payment is processed by the Apple App Store — we never receive or store your card or payment details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription state; it receives only whether your subscription is active, tied to an anonymous identifier, not your name or card.
We do not share, rent, or sell your personal information. We use a small set of providers solely to operate the app — Supabase (accounts & sync), Anthropic (AI analysis), RevenueCat (subscription status), Open Food Facts (food lookups) and Cloudflare (serverless functions) — each receiving only what it needs.
Delete your account & all data in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and all data, on the device and in our cloud, and cannot be undone. You can also clear on-device data via Settings → Clear all data, or by deleting the app.
Nourvi is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect their data.
Sign-in tokens are stored in the operating system's secure keychain. Cloud data is isolated per account (row-level security) and sent over HTTPS. No method is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Under laws like GDPR or CCPA you may access, correct, export or delete your data. You can export your data (Settings → Export my data) and delete your account in the app at any time.
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly.
