These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding legal agreement between you and Nourvi ("Nourvi," "we," "us," "our") governing your use of the Nourvi mobile application and related services. By downloading, accessing, or using Nourvi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live) to use Nourvi. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. You represent that you are legally able to enter into this agreement and are not barred from doing so under applicable law.
You are responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and not to share or misuse accounts. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use Nourvi for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and your app store's terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the app or attempt to extract its source code, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
Nourvi is free to use, with a monthly allowance of AI photo scans. Nourvi also offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, Nourvi Pro ($2.99 per month), which raises your monthly AI scan allowance.
You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app; attempt to break, overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to our servers or systems; use the app for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose; scrape, harvest, or use automated or bulk access beyond normal personal use; upload malicious code; or infringe anyone's rights. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate access for any violation or suspected abuse, at our discretion.
You keep ownership of the data you enter. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the app for you (for example, to store, sync, and process it as described in our Privacy Policy). You are solely responsible for the content you submit and represent that you have the right to submit it.
Nourvi relies on third parties to function (app stores, Supabase, Anthropic, RevenueCat, Open Food Facts, Cloudflare). Your use of those features may also be subject to their terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, or availability, and do not endorse or guarantee any third-party data (including food databases).
Nourvi is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We expressly disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranties as to accuracy, reliability, completeness, availability, security, or that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will Nourvi or its owner, operators, affiliates, or suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or health outcomes, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) Nourvi — whether based on warranty, contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory, and even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to Nourvi is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Nourvi and its owner, operators, affiliates, and suppliers from and against any claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: your use or misuse of the app; your content or data; your violation of these Terms or any law; your reliance on any estimate, data, or feature in the app; or your infringement of any third party's rights.
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.
You may stop using Nourvi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for legal, security, or operational reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7–12 and 14) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where local consumer law gives you stronger protections. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Nourvi regarding the app.
We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date will change, and your continued use after changes take effect means you accept them. Material changes will be indicated by the updated date.
